If you are searching for lucid dreaming you have come to the right place, this website is designed to give you everything you will need to start experiencing lucid dreams. Now, if you don’t actually know what that means, stick around, read the first page. You will probably find this to be really cool.

_

The word “lucid” means “aware” so Lucid dreaming is Conscious dreaming. Or simply put, lucid dream is a dream in which the dreamer knows that he/she is dreaming(LOL I wrote dream 4 times in one sentence). Anyway, this is a really interesting skill because it allows you to get control over your dreams and harness their reality, power and vividness.

_

Here are two interesting lucid dreaming experiences:

Sex“I walked into my room, and found a girl. We started doing it on the floor of my room. It was great. I was pretty easily able to last, until I came. But I was certain that I would have come in pants when I woke up for real, and I was embarrassed by the prospect of that.”

Mirror” I was looking through a mirror and somehow realized I was dreaming. I proceeded to test out the mirror. I found that when I looked into the mirror and moved around the mirror behaved very abnormally. Certain things would move and others wouldn’t. The colors in the dream mirror were very off from the colors of my surroundings. In fact, the whole scenery was different.

Since I was conscious I was able to observe all these phenomenon with a wake mind. I thought it was so incredible. I stuck my arm into the mirror and watched ripples spread around my arm. I found that by changing my mindset I could make the mirror behave differently. I could touch it and make it crack around my finger. I could heal the cracks. I could use it as a portal, and I could do other incredible things with it.”

How to get the most out of this guide

I organized this guide in hierarchical levels. One thing connects to the next. So if you are new to this, its best to read it from beginning to end without jumping any sections. Also, to benefit the most out of this guide, take it slow and relax. The things I will present here will be dense and simple facts, you can easily read them in 15-20 minutes but you will probably end up being confused and not taking any action.

_

That is one of the reasons why I decided to split up the guide in 3 days. Giving you bits of information each day and then giving you missions that will help you understand the lucid dreaming principles on a really deeper – intuitive level.

_

Today we will be talking about :

What is lucid dreaming? – In detail

Whats the use of lucid dreaming ?

Cool facts about lucid and normal dreaming

What will it take to lucid dream

The word “lucid” means “aware” and therefore “lucid dreaming” means “conscious dreaming”.It implies that you are aware of the fact that you are dreaming.

_

This is a skill that you can learn and implement into your daily life and it involves learning how to:

Remember dreams (we actually have more than 5 dreams each night but most of us just forget everything)

Attain lucidity (realize that you are dreaming/or fall asleep without losing consciousness)

Control dreams

Prolong dreams

_

Lucid dreams are vivid, detailed and real. However, the key deference between normal and lucid dreaming is the ability to control the dream, which is not absolute and increases proportionally with your experience and level of lucidity(How sure you are that you are dreaming?).

_

The realization that you are dreaming

Here is one little exercise that will help you understand how this feels like:

Become aware about the space around you, notice the keyboard, look at your palms, explore them. Ask yourself “Might this be a dream?” and really consider the question. Now imagine that this is a actually a dream and you have just awoken inside it.

The feeling you are experiencing now is quite similar to how you will feel inside a lucid dream. AWARE.

_

Feelings and Emotions

Dreaming produces the same emotions we have in real life. The part of our brain that controls the process of filtering emotions is not working while we sleep, this actually makes the emotions felt in our dreams more intense than the ones in real life.

_

Is lucid dreaming safe?

Yes. Its absolutely safe. You can’t get hurt in any way, shape or form.

_

Lucid Dreaming is NOT:

Anything related to magic

Lucid dreaming is a skill based on science and how the brain works. We are the only species who can lucid dream because we are the only species with consciousness. So, no, this is not voodoo stuff related to dark spells, just a really really really vivid imagination.

Anything related to your soul

People are sometimes afraid of not being able to wake up, and being trapped by the evil spirits, they say that doing things like this connects you to the realm of spirits and you must be guided personally by a guru who will protect your soul.

This is the same as thinking that a hallucination is real and that the ghosts you saw were there to take your soul FOR REAL.

Anything related to Cults/Illuminati stiff.

Many people think that lucid dreamers are weird people, they live in cults and have weakly meetings where they practice their voodoo powers. In truth, lucid dreamers are just like me and you, NORMAL people who want to get the most out of their dreams. They just found a way to tap into the power of the brain and use it to enrich their life.

Practice and consistency

Taking your time and consistently training is the single most important thing in mastering this technique. If I tell you that you will have lucid dream every night just after 3 days of training, I would be lying. But I can promise you that you CAN experience even more lucid dreams with consistent practice.

How long it will take for me to have my first lucid dream?

This varies from person to person. People can start training in the same time, be equally committed and put equal effort but still one might be 10 times more successful than the other. Some will even have a lucid dream just after hearing about it.

However I designed this guide in a way that will give you REAL chances to experience your first lucid dream in a week (That is, if you stick to the instructions)

__________

Now that you know the basics about lucid dreaming, you can decide if you want to take the 3 day lucid dreaming challenge.

Just do me a favor, don’t try to do it. Either DO IT or just let it go.

Ready to take the challenge?

Go to Remembering Dreams to start.

PS. The next section is password protected to ensure that you don’t get overwhelmed by information. Get access to the passwords by completing the form bellow:

You probably have some idea about what you can do with lucid dream, but you are not exactly sure. This part will give you the details about lucid dreaming applications.

First and foremost, you are spending 8 hours sleeping every day and you don’t even remember what you were dreaming. Well with lucid dreaming this time can be reclaimed. Not only you will start to remember your dreams but you will also gain the ability to control them.

This ability opens many possibilities

_

1. Adventure and Fun

Have sex – You can have any kind of sex you can imagine and with anyone you can imagine (or already know).

Fly – Someone once sad that its the same feeling as jumping with a parachute in the real world.

Travel Time

Have a chat with your favorite person from history – This will be a cool experience and it may give you some a deeper understanding of things you already know (realizations).

_

2. Unlock Creativity

Did you know that Walt Disney invented Mickey Mouse in a dream?

When you are in a lucid dream it is really easy to be creative because logical part of your brain is partially shut down. You can use this to ask smart questions and get innovative and creative answers back from your subconscious mind.

An effective application for a profession like: Artist, Designer or Inventor

_

3. Taking down nightmares

Lucid dreaming gives you a chance to become aware that the nightmare is only a dream and then face the thing that scares you the most in a position of power and control.

A study was performed in 2006 that showed that lucid dreaming was a successful treatment for nightmares.

_

4.Self Development

We have all heard of affirmations and visualizations… Try doing them in a lucid dream and see what happens.

Say I am rich once and BAM! you are the richest person on earth. And after you have experienced how it feels like to be super rich, you have a reference experience that you can aim towards with your affirmations. You can practice public speaking, approaching strangers, or having a stand up comedy show in the same way.

_

There are tons of other things you can do in a lucid dream that are out of the scope of this article, if you want to read more go to:

Physiology suggests that “seeing is believing” to the brain during any mental state. Even waking consciousness is liable to accept discontinuous or illogical experience as real if presented as such to the brain. Dream consciousness is similar to that of a hallucinating awake subject.

Facts:

Dream memory and waking life memory are stored in the same place and therefore they give you the same sensations when you access them. That’s one of the reasons why lucid dreaming feels so real.

We have at least 5 dreams every night but most of us just forget about them. Some even say that they don’t have dreams.

During dreaming the body paralysis itself as a protection mechanism to prevent the movements which occur in the dream from causing our physical body to move. However, it is possible for this mechanism to be triggered before, during, or after normal sleep while the conscious brain awakens. This can lead to a state where you are lying in your bed unable to move! It can be a pretty frightening and experience for some people.

The rate that time passes while lucid dreaming is the same with the one in walking life. Now there are few exceptions, you can actually live a full life in a dream.

The emotions we feel in our dreams are stronger then the ones we feel in the walking life because the part of our brain that filters emotions is actually not working.

Stage 3

Full body relaxation, body and mind are partially shut down. Stage of deep sleep, it is really hard to wake up in this stage and if you get woken up you will feel really really tired. In this stage our body muscles are partially shut down to prevent us from acting out our dreams in the real world and getting hurt.

2 to 4

Stage 4

Basically the same as Stage 3.

0.5 to 2

Stage 5 (REM)

IN this stage the brain and body get active and we start dreaming. Eyes are rapidly moving. In this stage we experience most vivid dreams. And this is where you will be experiencing most of your lucid dreams. Also, the body enters a full sleep paralysis and if you got suddenly woken up during this stage you won’t be able to move your body for 4-10 seconds, you will also find it easy to remember what you were dreaming.

15-30

(The frequency of normal walking consciousness is: 15-50)

A complete sleep circle from stage 1 to stage 5 – REM takes about 90 – 110 minutes. The fist REM stage is around 90 minutes after falling asleep and lasts about 10-20 minutes. However, after each sleep cycle the first 4 stages of sleep are getting shorter and the REM stage is getting longer, so the the last REM stage in a 8 hour sleep lasts around a hour.
